Story & Themes
Set in a small town in Uttar Pradesh, the film follows Anil Singh, a humble grain seller trying to arrange money for his sister's marriage by selling his inherited land.
His life changes dramatically when a corrupt politician illegally occupies the property. Determined to reclaim his land, Anil begins a difficult journey through government offices, police stations and courtrooms.
The film explores themes of land rights, corruption, social injustice, dowry pressure, dignity and resilience.

Filming began in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh in 2021 under the banners of T-Series and Karma Media & Entertainment.
The film was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Shaailesh R. Singh and Hansal Mehta.
After delays, the movie premiered directly on JioCinema in 2024.
The title is inspired by the classic film "Do Bigha Zameen" and reflects similar themes of land ownership and human dignity.
